A Passion for Community Health and Equity
We’re thrilled to spotlight Brandon Chu, a dedicated fourth-year medical student at the UCSF School of Medicine. Before embarking on his medical journey, Brandon earned his BA and MPH from UC Berkeley, demonstrating his early commitment to public health and community well-being.
As a UCGPC council member, Brandon is eager to champion the needs of UCSF students and advocate for issues that impact our student community. He believes that graduate students are a vital part of the UC system and deserve a strong voice at the state level.
Why should you get involved with UCGPC?
Engaging in UCGPC initiatives such as the Student Advocate to the Regents program, Grad Summit, or government advocacy days allows you to play a vital role in influencing the future of the University of California system. Your contributions are significant, and UCGPC serves as a powerful platform to elevate your concerns and advocate for policies that are essential for the collective well-being of all graduate students.
Connect with Brandon and other UCGPC members to build a stronger graduate and professional student community in the UC!
