UCGPC is seeking to nominate a graduate or professional student to serve on the UC Student Conduct Policy and Procedures Workgroup. That workgroup will:
- provide guidance on the development and release of a revised PACAOS 100.00 that establishes a shared adjudication framework with core procedural standards and systemwide guidelines for student conduct sanctions;
- advise on the development of a standardized framework for systemwide student data collection and reporting; and
- submit a report that evaluates the benefits and challenges of alternative structures for managing academic misconduct.
Workgroup Charge
The UC Student Conduct Policy and Procedures Workgroup will guide the creation of a revised PACAOS 100.00, establishing a shared framework for student conduct sanctions by August 1, 2025, with implementation starting on January 1, 2026. The workgroup will also help develop a standardized approach for student data collection and reporting, and provide a report by December 1, 2025, on the pros and cons of different methods for handling academic misconduct cases.
Meeting Schedule
The workgroup will meet via Zoom six times from July to November 2025, with virtual meetings scheduled from 2:00 to 3:30 pm on the following dates:
- Tuesday, July 8, 2025
- Tuesday, July 15, 2025
- Tuesday, August 5, 2025
- Tuesday, September 9, 2025
- Tuesday, October 14, 2025
- Tuesday, November 18, 2025
